Thomas Products Division of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is a leader in the design and manufacture of air compressors and vacuum pumps. Thomas produces several different lines of air compressors for home, shop, garage and contractor applications.
Thomas’ Air-Pac series of electric air compressors are designed for home, construction and small shop use. There are five models in ½, ¾, 1, 1 ¼, and 2 hp configurations. The ½ horsepower model is ideal for running a finish gun or brad nailer. The ¾ hp model is the smallest unit available capable of supporting a framing gun. The 1 hp model features a 3 gallon hot dog style tank and can easily be moved around a job site. This unit can run one framing gun or two coil roofing guns. The 1 ¼ hp compressor is a pancake design capable of running multiple guns. It is a quiet compressor that can run off of an extension cord and be moved around a job site with ease. Thomas’ 2 hp model is the highest output 2 hp compressor on the market. It delivers 5 SCFM at 100 psi. It has a two cylinder, in-line design.
Thomas’ Renegade electric series of compressors are excellent for job sites due to the patented Lifeguard dirt deflector that will extend the life of the air compressor. The 2 hp Renegade delivers 4.6 SCFM at 100 psi and can support 2-4 nail guns. These models are designed for continuous multiple gun use.
Thomas also manufactures a gas line of Renegade compressors. These are available in 4 and 5 ½ hp varieties. The 4 hp model features a Honda engine and air flow rate of 5.4 SCFM at 100 psi. This gun is excellent for multiple nail guns, paint spraying, sandblasting and pneumatic impact wrenches. The 5 ½ hp version delivers 12 SCFM at 100 psi. It is the lightest weight and highest output 5.5 hp model on the market.
