The top of the line Craftsman compressor is the vertical tank Professional model 80 gallon compressor. This unit has 5.5 hp and a 2 stage pump with splash lubrication. It comes standard with a pressure gauge, check valve, safety relief and shut off valves. It pumps 17.4 SCFM at 100 psi and 16.9 SCFM at 175 psi. This compressor is for professional use and must be hard wired by an electrician.
Craftsman makes another Professional line model with a vertical 60 gallon tank and a Twin-V 2-stage oil free pump. This industrial grade model operates on a direct-drive system with no belt to adjust and fewer parts for improved reliability. It also features a heavy duty crankcase, crankshaft and cylinders for professional, industrial use. It cranks 2.9 hp and pumps 9.6 SCFM at 40 psi and 9.0 SCFM at 90 psi. Maximum psi is 175.
Craftsman also makes several portable models. There are both vertical and horizontal corded models with wheels. The Professional portable model features a 25 gallon tank, 1.6 hp and a 2-stage oil-free pump. Maximum psi is 175. This unit pumps 5.6 SCFM at 40 psi and 5.1 SCFM at 90 psi.
Craftsman’s horizontal 25 gallon model has a two cylinder oil lube pump with cast-iron sleeves and automotive pistons and rings. It also has an aluminum fanned crank case and balanced flywheel for improved heat dissipation. This model has a maximum psi of 150 and pumps 8.6 SCFM at 40 psi and 6.8 SCFM at 90 psi.
Craftsman also makes a portable 33 gallon, 2 hp model in both vertical and horizontal models. These models operate on standard 120 volt household current. They are both oil free models. These models have a max psi rating of 150 and pump 8.6 SCFM at 40 psi and 6.4 SCFM at 90 psi.
